[13] It is settled law that the corporate veil of a company should not be lifted lightly as the concept of separate legal entity is a cornerstone of company law in Malaysia (see Hotel Jaya Puri Bhd v National Union of Hotel, Bar & Restaurant Workers e Anor [1980] 1 MLJ 109).
